The concept of automated business entered the international business canon a few years ago. For a long time, it was only the subject of conferences and board meetings, but in the last two years it has burst onto the Asian, American and European markets. One after another, the world's leading retailers are opening these stores. This is driven by the early success of Amazon Go, the global labour market challenges and the contactless sales generated by the Covid-19 epidemic. All industry forecasts and customer trend research predict the success of automated delivery. Gábor Kende, CEO of Kende Retail, noticed the automated container store in an article during the pandemic and after much research decided to enter this market. As a member of the Kende Group, Kende Retail Operation Kft. was established later that year, a family business set up to market automated, cashier-free technology.
